Noida International Airport ( Jewar )
Noida International Airport at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh is being developed by Flughafen Zürich AG (Zurich Airport) south of Greater Noida with a 4 phase master plan to handle 60 million passengers per annum in the future.
Jewar International Airport to be operational (first phase) by sept 2024 with Indigo Airline already.

Phase 1 : Layout Plan
The project’s Phase 1 is expected to be completed and opened in March 2024.
Noida International Airport’s Phase 1 envisions a 90,000 Sqm Terminal 1 building, 4150 x 45 Code ‘E’ runway (Runway 10/28) fully supported by CAT III approach lighting and visual aids, parallel end to end taxiway, Air Traffic Control (ATC) building, cargo facility, commercial developments, metro & high speed rail stations, and other amenities

DMRC to submit Jewar-IGI airport metro link DPR by March 2023
There will be two metro rail stretches:
● 1st Phase :- Knowledge Park 2 to Jewar Airport 35km elevated cum underground
● 2nd Phase :- Knowledge Park 2 to IGI Airport 37km with Ashok Nagar.
● The Jewar airport- New Delhi Metro station metro link will have 13 stations, including Jewar, Sector 28, Sector 20, Sector 18, Sector 22D, Techzone, Pari Chowk (all in Greater Noida), Noida’s Sector 142, Botanical Garden, New Ashok Nagar, Yamuna Bank and New Delhi.
● Once this new line becomes operational, the distance between the Jewar Airport and the IGI airport can be covered in one hour, says DMRC.
● Phase-1 of the proposed Jewar airport is scheduled to be completed by September 2024.
